Sheet-steel roofing application?

Can anyone direct me to a good up-to-date Web site about the application of sheet steel home roofing? I'm referring to the kind with widish "valleys" and narrow "ridges" and a metal ridge cap. Application with rubber-washer screws.

I haven't worked with this exact material before. This is for a shed with a simple (two-sided) "gable" roof, so no complexity for the roof shape at all. Thanks.

I do not know how you start that one off (first edge), but AFAIK the working edge was usually held down with a little bracket thatclipped over the ridge and was nailed to support beam, the next sheet covered it.

The one I am thinking of has two channels and three ridges.

Caveat, I've never actually used it on a roof, but reuse as garden edging.

Ask where you purchased it from or some place that sells it. If you do not have the bits, then you are going to need to buy them.

I've put down lots of 5V galvanized roofing. Not exactly rocket science. You need good air circulation underneath so large gaps in the stringers or whatever you call what you are nailing it to. So i would not put it on top of osb board. Use some more rot resistant wood is good for this too. Hard to get the nails started. Always end up banging the crap out of my fingers worse than any other roofing job. Hard to drill too. I always put the nails in the ridges, often dinging up a tiny little place to start the nail with first hammer blow. Good job not to do on a windy day!
