Any recommendations for online tool shopping?
I'm looking for a good deal on a Makita drill/driver - 14 volt (maybe 18).
thanks in advance

Wed, April 23, 2008 - 8:50 PMGet the 18 volt one. The new lithium-ion ones are really light. I don't have any real tips for cheap tools though; try pricegrabber.com. Or just go to the box store and get it; you pay a bit more but you start using it right away :)

Thu, April 24, 2008 - 2:10 PMI like Leevalley/CVS tools. Nice stuff for woodworkers there. It's like crack if you are into tools so hide your plastic first...

www.tylertool.com/
$9 shipping and no tax outside of Mississippi.
I don't want to get stuck with some "knock-off" fake Makita.
Thanks for the replies.
(I've pretty much settled on an 18V Makita driver/drill kit.)

Mon, May 12, 2008 - 10:14 AMI don't know how their price is on that specific tool, but I've had good luck with www.toolking.com/
I've been buying tools from them for years.
