I agree. We used to put the attachment for blowing a ball on the end of the pump. Some of these pins have holes in the sides - so we would cut them off to make a tube.....

Thu, August 9, 2007 - 6:37 PMwe made a 3 man sling shot with 1/2 a football and 16 feet of surgical tubing. you cut the tubing into two using a sharp knife cut the football around the equator pierce a hole on each side of the football and loop the tubing through and knot the other end get 2 buddies and water balloons and i guarantee you can shoot a balloon three city blocks at unsuspecting pedestrians or cars. trust me it will dent a car or surprise some one when when you aim for a tree above them or shoot it blindly over houses at a busy intersection like we did -

we did this all the time when I was a kid.
the Zefal HPX's allow you to squirt around the corner.

We used the older style water fire extinguishers, refill them yourself with H2O and compressed air. It's like having a portable garden hose. Cats just love it. ;]
