I can't believe I did it, either
But it is now FIXED! (I couldn't post it earlier, in case I might jynx my progress)
But I replaced the wiring harness in my own car. A small electrical fire this past spring made me do it.
(I can still hardly believe I did it).
Honestly, I did have to "call an expert" (my cousin) for advice now and then,
and I also still had to use a GM dealer to re-set my "computer"....
But I have found a new kind of strength in myself.. it's really amazing.
